Delectable!

This giant mushroom is so special. The hazelnut ganache inside is to die for. Rich, not too sweet, with surprise pops of salt. I love it sooo much. It to two of us 2 months to eat the monster. I will happily buy another.

Looks amazing - too salty

After trying it, I think it would be better in a milk or dark chocolate, rather than white. I like the ganache interior and salt, but this was too salty. It tasted like a very salty Nutella.

a laypersons review: Nordic Forest Mushroom

so i purchased a few things from the site as various xmas gifts, but my hubby and I decided to keep this one since we found the mushroom so intriguing.

It comes packaged wonderfully in the box. It looks exactly as pictured. I didn't get perfect cuts when using a knife to slice it, but it does instruct how to do it properly on the box so I wouldn't be surprised if this was some user error.

The nordic forest mushroom tastes amazing and is very rich and actually pretty filling. With three people in our family, we 've gotten through around half of it over the holiday week. It would probably better for a party larger than three, but we're gluttons so we like it anyways.

Ultimately, I'd say it's worth the price for a lavish holiday gift/treat if you think that persons would like this. It's very indulgent, rich, and earthy, but the earthiness doesn't overpower the cocoa. It's also quite a lot. I didn't expect this treat to stay in the fridge long but it's a powerful mushroom indeed.
