This 2.2 LB chocolate slab is chocolate at its most luxe. Our proprietary 85% cacao dark chocolate is crafted using Baba de Cacao, the sweet pulp that suspends the cacao beans. The pulp is freeze-dried, imbuing the bar with delicate, sweet, and tropical parfums of lychee and flowers. The final touch is gilding the back of each slab in 24K gold leaf. Our Soirée Smash Slabs make the perfect holiday party gift for the host, hostess, or dessert table.

    Germany
    Raw gold is placed inside a crucible that glows bright orange from the intense heat. This is what allows the gold to be inserted and removed when melted. The melted gold is placed into a mold to cool. Once cool, the gold is hammered into an easily handled shape. It is then rolled to reach a consistent thickness. Once the gold is thin, it is then cut into small squares and then heated again to soften. The softened gold is then placed in a machine to be "beat" until very thin. It is then cut into delicate gold sheets that are perfect for decorating any dessert.

Makes a statement

The fun of smashing this humongous chocolate bar at the end of a swanky soirée is only exceeded by actually eating it. Everyone was blown away at how dark, and yet how smooth and still sweet it was. Just about everyone said it was the best chocolate they’d ever had.

I bought this chocolate for my dear mother for her birthday, I have to say that the air smelled of quality chocolate as soon as I opened the package. My mom was very pleasantly surprised! She is a big gourmand when it comes to dark chocolate and she was very satisfied. At the same time, the possibility of such a large piece of chocolate is very original and luxurious.
