    Legend has it that the candy cane dates back to 1670, when the choirmaster at the Cologne Cathedral in Germany, while guiding rehearsal for the Christmas pageant, devised a special distraction to keep the young singers occupied. He pulled a peppermint stick from the pocket of his robe, warmed it over a candle and bent it into the shape of a shepherd's hook. The children adored the candy canes and would hang them from the trees outside and imagine they were shepherds traversing the high hills.

Very cute Gnomes

These were adorable but it wasn't my favorite combo ever. I love dark chocolate, and I love peppermint but I thought it wasn't the best tasting combo of the two I've ever had. Cute and fun for Christmas though.
