1 cup cocoa powder
2 cups boiling water
2 ½ cups flour, white all purpose
2 tsp. baking soda
½ tsp baking powder
1 cup butter softened
2 ½ cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2 tsp ancho chili
½ tsp chipotle chili
2 tsp Ceylon cinnamon
Add cocoa powder to boiling water and mix. Let cool.
In separate bowl combine flour, baking soda, baking powder, ancho chili, chipotle chili, and cinnamon. Set aside.
Combine butter, sugar, vanilla, eggs. Mix until creamy.
Slowly add flour mixture.
Fold in cocoa mixture.
Grease two 8 inch pans and flour the bottom. Bake for 20 minutes at 325 degrees.
